(21+) Flagons and Dragons - a D&D Drinking Adventure!

About the adventure

The Rime of the Frostmaiden is over, and summer has returned to Icewind Dale. The hardships and sacrifices are gone, but it’s still a cold place to live, which is why Lonelywood’s new Speaker has adopted a new yearly tradition celebrating the end of the Rime: a Brew Festival to warm the hearts of all in Ten Towns!! In this light hearted adventure players will bring beer, wine or spirit to the (online) table, showing off their own, or local, crafts. This “show and tell” will take place in game in the form of a friendly brewing/distilling competition as the festival roars on. But not all is fun and games in Lonelywood as a local saboteur is on the loose and it’s up to you to stop them!

How to prepare

You must have a webcam and a microphone (it wouldn’t be show and tell without either!) You also must have a discord account, make sure ahead of time that your mic and video work so we don’t spend time in session dealing with technical difficulties :) Bring a pencil and paper to keep track of things like health or loot. And most importantly, bring something you like to drink! OPTIONAL: if you already have a dnd beyond account and know how to use beyond’s digital dice for discord you’re welcome to make a 1st level character with a standard array for stats and I’ll send you the web hook you’ll need for to use the digital dice app.

What I provide

A dnd beyond dice roller that sends rolls straight to discord - I’ll be in control of it so you don’t have to keep track of much at all. I’ll bring a couple custom maps and pre-gen character sheets for you to select.

Gameplay details

ABSOLUTELY NOBODY UNDER THE AGE OF 21! This is a game meant for beer, wine or liquor enthusiasts who enjoy the craft, responsible drinking, and playing dungeons and dragons. The purpose of this is to bring like minded, passionate individuals together and talking about the craft scene in their area to people possibly across the country.

How will character creation work

I’ll have some pre-gen characters made and we will share them through discord. I’ll roll dice through D&D beyond for you and you’ll just have to verbally add your bonuses.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
