About the adventure

One of the exciting parts of the Adventure aspect of DnD is being able to discover your own way through the world. My games have mystique and surprise around every corner. Without spoiling the plot, here's an intro: You will start between a rock and a hard place. Literally. You're not sure how you managed it, but you're stuck in the Underdark, far below the surface. Plight and woe will befall you and you'll be forced to come together as a party to overcome every obstacle. Your lives depend on it.... Free roam and discover one of the various routes to the surface. Make allies and enemies along the way. After exploring the near endless expanse of the tunnels, and maybe getting into a fight or two, you'll finally find the way out. After what felt like an eternity, the surface! As you get ready to move on with your lives and forget the whole experience, the fates call upon you once again. It seems that was only the prologue... I have an expansive, branching campaign planned all the way to level 10 spanning the continent of Faerûn, and even miles below it. Once you sign up for the campaign, I'll schedule a free session 0 in groups of 2-3 to iron out characters, introduce you to Foundry VTT, and play DnD. This will give us an opportunity to try each other out. After that we'll have weekly sessions baring any major issues. Looking forward to playing with you!

How to prepare

Gameplay details

Gameplay is all about balancing the 3 pillars of DnD to the party's liking. Role play, exploration, combat. RP- I wont push too hard, but RP is 2/3 of RPG, so it's kinda important. Math. I like to run challenging campaigns that fully pull players into connecting with their characters. This includes developing tie-ins to backstories and opportunities for character development. Exploration- Using Foundry VTT, I can prepare a spread of maps and have them ready depending where the players decide to go. Included is dynamic lighting, which gives each player their own individual FOV to the battlefield. Combat- If you've never used a VTT before, you are missing out. With character sheet integration, each roll is just a click away. This helps with encounter pacing immensely giving each player more time to interact with the world. The game itself will be handled on a web browser that can display maps, tokens, character sheets, and more. We will be using discord for verbal communication.

How will character creation work

I will set up a free session 0 in group of 2-3 players. We will finalize your characters there. If it's your first time creating characters, let me know and I'll help.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
