Entering the Nexus - Level 20 "One Shot"
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Google Hangouts
About the adventure
The world has ended ... In a blast of arcane energy on a cosmic scale everything you know has been torn asunder. But you consciousness remains. Stitch yourself back together (using a compendium of premium DnDBeyond source materials) at - https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/16711483805701139 - and make your way to The Nexus, the convergence of the Arcane and Material Planes, to see what adventures await you! Build a Level 20 character (using my premium DnDBeyond character building content). You should have 3 uncommon, 2 rare, and 1 very rare magical items in your inventory, and you should pick spells ... but we will play with open spell books, so you can cast *any* spell that you have the appropriate level spell slot for. This game is played in the theatre of the mind and broadcast live on Twitch at twitch.tv/DMingHadley
How to prepare
Please have your character fully built on DnDBeyond before the game using the ability score method of your choosing. You can roll dice in DnDBeyond or at home, but be honest about your dice rolls. It's more fun that way. Please use a headset (earbuds with mic or headphones/mic setup) to mitigate ambient noise and feedback.
What I provide
You bring the characters and a good attitude, and I'll bring you a universe of ADVENTURE!
My games are run in the theatre of the mind! I will describe in vivid detail the world, or worlds, around you (given a sufficient perception check). Your characters are invited to interact with the world as you see fit, and I will respond in kind. There will likely be vivid descriptions of gore in a fantasy setting. There may also be exchanges in character that are salacious or deviant, but there is a hard line for physicality between characters outside of combat. Players are expected to be respectful and accepting of different levels of comfort and ability, but players should be experienced with D&D and DnDBeyond before signing up for the game.
