About the adventure

Volothamp had a simple quest for you. barely an inconvenience. you're a fresh new adventurer and it seemed harmless enough... right? right? wrong. somehow you suddenly have the attention of every shadow and cutthroat in waterdeep now: every beholder mob boss and every drow mercenary (with a positively incredible plumed hat) has suddenly got knives out and looking for you. at the end of this sudden death trap you've blundered in to? cash baby. 500,000 gold. thats a lot of loot to be had. you could throw this whole adventuring shtick behind you and live like lords and ladies from here 'til judgement day. all you gotta do is stay sharp, stay smart and stay ahead of the curve. think you've got what it takes? step into the concrete jungle of waterdeep and find out.

How to prepare

you'll need a microphone for this game since it's online, and either a roll20 or discord account to play (both would be preferable!).

What I provide

i'll be bringing the books, in case anyone needs them as well as dice bots and music to help liven things up!

Gameplay details

i lean towards the rule of cool a lot, so expect things to get hectic fast. while i'll be going by the book expect some deviations from the campaign, just to keep things spicy! this is a bit of an urban thriller so expect chases, clues, combats and always running ahead or just barely missing out on someone closing in on the money!

How will character creation work

pregens will be accepted! anything from d&d beyond or what have you is fine, i also will have pregens ready to go if you just want to dive right in. if you'd prefer i'd also be glad to do character creation with you and help you build something you'll love.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
