About the adventure

This Adventure is set in the Sword Coast, a land of high fantasy and magic, populated by fantastic creatures. This game is mostly quest based. You will start in a small town in the middle of the land, which will be your main hub and the place to get quests. From there, you can leave and explore an open world where all the quests you take from the starting town await you. From the very start, you'll be able to go wherever you'd like in the Sword Coast, exploring its roads, mountains and forests, and helping the people you meet. With a healthy balance between roleplay and combat, you'll have the opportunity to experience a core D&D adventure, allowing for true moments of character growth and the chances to forge epic battles against powerful magical creatures and even a terrifying Dragon.

How to prepare

Players will need the Discord application on either their computer or phone, and they must make a Discord account if they haven't already. Whichever device is used, it must have a working mic. Webcam is optional but a good addition. Though not required, players should inform themselves on the basic rules of the game beforehand, so we can more swiftly go through the preparation and can jump right to the action quicker. The players will join a Discord server with a built-in dice bot, but physical dice are preferred.

What I provide

I will bring with me an auto-calculating character sheet PDF the players can use to record their characters. They will be invited to a server with a built-in dice roller bot.

Gameplay details

This game includes themes of thrilling combat and realistic roleplay. Players can expect the world to respond to their actions as they play. If at any point during a game a player feels uncomfortable in any way, they are always free to pause it and discuss it, ask to remove the source of their discomfort, or any other option they feel is appropriate. The atmosphere of the game overall should change to accommodate the players, so the game can be a lot lighter if necessary.

How will character creation work

We will begin with a session 0 to explain the rules to new players and help everyone create their characters. Everyone will start at level 1. Players are expected to already have an idea of the character they want to play.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
