About the adventure

The theme will start as basic fantasy and magic. We will work together to build a world around your backstory. This game begins in Phandelver, a small mining town that has trouble once in a while. There's been trouble in the mountains nearby and rumors tell of a strange magic in the forest...who will answer the call from the town master Harbin Wester?... Be anyone do anything! It's your choice.

How to prepare

I ask that players have a mic at the very least. No one *needs* a webcam but it is preferred. We will be using DND Beyond and if you are new to DND we can explore that together. I do have some requirements/rules that I link to in my profile to keep play fair and so everyone has a chance to have their say. Using DND Beyond forgoes the need for a physical sheet or dice. This also helps me to keep track of rolls. Everyone is required to create a character. This is actually very easy even for beginners as I and the other players will have a hand in the creation for a very balanced party. What if you want to be related to someone else's character? We can definitely talk about it! Bring water and a good sense of humor!

What I provide

I will do map creation if it calls for it on Roll20. I also do extensive equipment and spell design tailor made for players. I am not an artist and will sometimes use Pintrest to find a character as an example.

Gameplay details

Sessions will involve as much planning, exploring, and fighting as you like. I do much more behind the scenes for my players as far as story and equipment/spell creation. There has usually been intermittent fighting in the story to keep things spicy in my previous campaigns. Cursing is allowed unless someone requests us to not then I will simply ask everyone to watch their mouth.

How will character creation work

Creating a character/s is something the group can do together. I am very flexible with character creation and allow for most shenanigans. I will ask for at least a few sentences so that we can flesh out a backstory.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
