About the adventure
This is the final chapter of my homebrew world. It started as a game with friends, and has spawned a prequel campaign (Advent of the Mother God), a a prequel mini-campaign (Advent in the Mountains). This campaign spans multiple worlds, and includes influences from the Forgotten Realms, classic D&D high fantasy, horror, science fiction, and Spelljammer. It starts as a harmless quest in a small elven village to go re-light a signal fire in the north part of the forest, and then spans multiple worlds, universes, and demiplanes. This is a slowburn plot, with plenty of NPCs and minor story arcs to make up the difference. Currently the party is level 5 and consists of: - Aarokocra Bard - Elf Fighter - Elf Rogue - Goliath Monk We play 2 hours each Sunday on my own hand-drawn and digitally colored maps, and use pre-made maps when needed.
How to prepare
You should be familiar with the basic combat rules and have Discord, audio only. I can walk you through joining our TablePlop campaign (free), and help you make a token for your character.
What I provide
All of the dungeons in the game are hand-drawn and homebrewed by me. Other locations we use a variety of free maps and occasionally theater of the mind. I voice each NPC with a unique voice, and each NPC has their own motivations, values, goals, and more.
This game started without incorporating the TTRPG Safety Toolkit, however we'll be using the system for inspiration moving forward, and any new players own lines and veils will be respected and enforced. Gore and cursing are common in this campaign. Racism, ableism, sexism, etc. of any kind are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

How will character creation work
New characters will start at the same level of current party members. Use point-buy for ability scores, all published content is accepted. Homebrew content also accepted but requires DM pre-approval. Character's backstory will be encouraged, and the last 1-2 weeks of character's backstory will be fleshed out between DM & Player before joining to make sure the character will be able to join the group as a full-fledged member of the adventuring party.
Players can expect
