About the adventure

Planning to run a homebrew campaign with a desert setting. Looking for 4 players. *Campaign synopsis:* The desert city of Amari is in the middle of change. Their Loxodon leader has passed of old age, and there is a contest on who will take over as leader of the city. You have come to the city right before the funeral is about to take place. Perhaps you are responding to the notices from the city, who are looking for protection during the march towards the Valley of the Dead. The campaign will probably explore themes of travel, survival, tradition and family. **About the DM:** Been DMing since 2020. I've enjoyed playing RP heavy systems besides 5e. I'm a pretty chill person and am hoping to tell some memorable stories with the party! My games often take a serious tone (as in getting immersed in the world rather than joke characters) and I will not shy away from mature content themes e.g. course language, morally-grey characters and situations, sexual content (not explicit or pornographic), violence, gore, substance abuse, and traumatic situations. Prior to play we will conduct a session zero to discuss whether these or any other topics should be avoided, among other things. **About the game:** Sessions will be 2 hours weekly. Campaign is originally planned for 10 sessions, but will go longer if we get along. Voice chat over Discord Maps on roll20 I try to stick to RAW throughout the game, unless it is really detracting from the fun. There are several optional rules from the DMG that I allow e.g. Healing Surges. **Character creation:** Choose standard array or roll for it. Official content only. **Player requirements:** Working microphone No bigots or discrimination Age 21+ PM the answers to the following questions: *Name* *Age* *Timezone* *Experience with d&d and other ttrpgs* *What kind of player are you?* *What type of campaigns do you usually enjoy?* *Anything else you want to add?*
