About the adventure

The holy city of Elturel has been dragged down to Hell. Avernus, Hell's top-most layer, is an infinite wasteland of treacherous fiends, wicked torments, and perpetual war. Its current ruler, it is said, is a fallen angel who harvests mortal souls to wage battle against the hordes of the abyss. Elturel and all her people, now far beyond the reach of the Gods, are slowly sinking into the River Styx. Descent Into Avernus is an epic D&D adventure with high stakes, some of the deadliest foes in the game, and, of course... Mad Max-style war machines ;) It is ideal for players interested in hack-n-slash, Machiavellian schemes, dark humor, and using your wits to survive. How to prepare

Players should have a microphone, and should have an account on Roll20 and Discord. Joining both the game on Roll20 and my discord server. Please be sure to create a character before the session.

What I provide

I utilise Roll20 to the fullest extent i am capable of. Using handouts both for information or lore as well as beautiful artwork to give you a visualisation of the game. You will gain full access to all my books for creating your character. A wide array of different maps with dynamic lightning and ambient sounds are just another tool used to feel like your in the forrest or Colosseum itself!.

Gameplay details

Players can expect fast-paced combat and a fair rules game with solid storytelling. Most of the above content warnings are capable of being hidden behind a line or veil and I am more than willing to implement those systems to protect the people in my games. The most important thing is that this is an inclusive LGBTQIA+ safe game with respect for the people who are playing. While this is a dark setting we are all here to have fun and to craft an interesting story together - I will do my best to facilitate that. We go over lines and veils and the expectations for players to respect those limits during Session 0.

How will character creation work

Players may participate in a 'Session 0' for character generation. Characters can be created in Roll20 using the full access you will have to all the books i own through my compendium.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
