About the adventure

With cannibals, turbine golems, optical gods, giant platypuses, and eldritch things from the deep below, it's a fantasy-horror-sci-fi-steampunk fever dream!

How to prepare

A mic and a quiet place to play is all that is required. This game is open to all, so if you've never had experience with D&D before, you're welcome to join! When you sign up, I'll schedule a free session with you to help you make a character and introduce you to the digital tools we'll use.

What I provide

Both versions of DEEP CARBON OBSERVATORY - the original and remastered editions. Hours spent studying the module, making notes and play aides. Pregenerated characters. My own art based on the module's style and tone. A campaign wiki/journal/forum maintained as we play A D&D Beyond account with access to all the player sourcebooks to share Players Handbook Xanathar's Guide to Everything Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide Tasha's Cauldron of Everything A dedicated Discord Server where we can communicate between adventures. All the other usual stuff :)

Gameplay details

I run a safe, welcoming game where everyone is respected and we adhere to certain safety protocols. My primary priority is for everyone to have fun. Those who can't abide by these standards will be asked to leave with no refund. NOTE - Because of the nature of this module, there is some subject matter it will be impossible to avoid. These include: Natural Disasters (Floods) Drowning Child Endangerment / Death Cannibalism Darkness Tight Spaces If any of these are triggers/phobias for you, this is probably not the campaign for you - they're pretty intrinsic to the theme and overarching narrative. Other than that, I'm open to any discussions on subject matter.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at 1st Level and be made in D&D Beyond. If you're unfamiliar with how to create a character in D&D Beyond, I will be happy to schedule a free session with you to walk you through the process. Part of the first session will be creating bonds between characters for the campaign, and rolling on a table that will give your character a unique connection to the module's story.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
