About the adventure

One of the things I love most about creating a game of Dungeons and Dragons is tailoring not just the story but the entire world to my players and their characters. With a custom game from me, I'll work with you to create an adventure that fits exactly what you need and tailors every aspect of the story to you - a true hero's journey. Whether you're a single player, a pair, or a large group, I'm looking forward to creating a game for you - be it a one-shot or something more epic. (Also please note that I've included a price here based on a 3 or 4-hour one-shot with a small group, but we can further discuss the cost per session upon booking.)

How to prepare

For gameplay, you'll need a webcam and mic (your default phone or computer cam and mic are fine) as well as Discord, which will host our voice/video/text. I understand that some people prefer to not to use video, so if that's you, I'm totally fine with that. We'll be using theater of the mind for encounters, although I may pass along maps for reference in some cases. Please provide your own method for rolling dice. For creating characters, you'll need to use D&D Beyond to create a digital character sheet. However, I will be able to share paid D&D Beyond content with you in advance to broaden your character building options. Once you have this digital character sheet, you can use it to keep track of spells, abilities, items, and gold. (If you are using any homebrew in character creation, I will be able to add that to D&D Beyond as well.) If you have a Player's Handbook and any other books, feel free to have them with you for reference, but they won't be necessary. And have something to take notes in case there are things you want to remember from session to session if you book a longer adventure.

What I provide

I will provide all players with paid content from D&D Beyond to create character sheets in advance. I'll also provide information about getting set up in Discord if you require assistance.

Gameplay details

As mentioned, this game is completely designed with your needs in mind. Do you want to fight a dragon or an army of devils? Do you love puzzles? Do you prefer the Forgotten Realms setting, or are you looking for something inspired by modern-day London or New York City? It's all up to you! To help ensure that every player is comfortable and having a great time, I'll be setting lines and veils prior to the start of gameplay with each player to ensure maximum comfort. These lines and veils will inform gameplay and ensure the ability to "fade to black" whenever needed. During the session, we'll be employing X, N, and O signals in chat as needed. We'll also be ending each session with a brief Highlight Reel and Wrap Session to discuss the game session and ensure fun and engaging future sessions.

How will character creation work

Regardless of the number of players or type of campaign or one-shot, we'll kick things off with some kind of session zero either tacked onto the first session, done over email, or scheduled separately. Regarding character creation, any races, backgrounds, and subclasses from officially published Wizards of the Coast 5e source books or adventures are acceptable. Homebrew is also allowable, although I'll want to take a look in advance to make sure that it's not too overpowered. In addition, I can provide tailor-made character sheets for anyone who would prefer that.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
