About the adventure

This campaign will take place in Barovia, Strahd's domain; a land of fear and horror. Though, hopefully, a strong group of adventures may be able to bring a little bit of light and magic to the people of the realm. There will be Gothic horror, undead monsters, and a curse that must be broken. I am a strong believer in "yes, and" and "no, but". I love to see cool and interesting things that the players come up with. I want to make sure everyone is having a good time, and that everyone spends some time is the spotlight. This story is about the players; who they are, what they do, and how they respond to the world around them. I want to see what stories they can make together.

How to prepare

If you have a Webcam, that would be ideal, but if not, just a mic will do just fine. We will be playing via Zoom or Skype, whichever is better from the group, so you'll need access to the one we end up using. You will need to create your own character and have that character sheet handy for the sessions. Also, you'll need your own set of dice or use digital dice through an app or on your computer.

What I provide

From me, you can expect a well tailored story that focuses on your characters and their wants and needs.

Gameplay details

A normal session will consist of a spread of combat, social interactions and exploration. Normal, I spend the first few sessions feeling out what everyone is into. If everyone would prefer to be in combat, the sessions will shift to having that as a primary focus. If people prefer social interaction, the sessions will switch focus to that.

How will character creation work

We will be creating level 1 characters before the game. I would love to be involved in each character's creation; either to help in the creation, or just to know the character's backstory. Everyone will use the Standard Array for D&D 5e, and everyone gets an additional feat at level 1.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
