About the adventure

Through the mists, the unsuspecting heroes are pulled to the lands of Bavoria where an unspeakable horror awaits. Will they be able to withstand the horrors that await? Will they have what it takes to survive and find their way home? If this is your first time playing Curse of Strahd, welcome. If you've played through this adventure before, please no spoilers for those who haven't.

How to prepare

You will need a mic for Discord, hopefully, a good internet connection, and a relatively quiet place for minimal interruptions. Bring your sense of adventure. If you find yourself unable to make it to a session, try to remember to suspend the session in the 24-hour window before the start of the game. Otherwise, contact me as that means an extended Player or DM contacts StartPlaying about a refund.

What I provide

I will do my best to show maps and visuals for players. I have a large number of physical books while my digital library on Beyond continues to expand and grow. We use the Avrae Dicebot in Discord for any modified rolls and the Beyond Die Roller for combat once sheets are all successfully connected.

How will character creation work

We will use Point Buy or Standard Array on D&D Beyond where I can collect and store character sheets for ease of access. Characters will begin at level one, get characters done beforehand. I will try to be on an hour before the start of the game to drop down the Discord link and to look over sheets. Don't forget backgrounds for characters, that helps to breathe life into who you will be playing.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
