About the adventure

All aboard the Aether Express! A multi-day, cross continent railway journey. Your party, a group of relatively well-known adventurers are taking the train looking for new challenges and experiences to grow your repertoire. Mere hours after the train's departure, a scream disrupts the peaceful ambiance as a dead body is discovered in one of the cabins. Your party is tasked with investigating this murder and catching them before the train reaches its destination.

How to prepare

Webcam is optional, but you will need a microphone. Reading the rules ahead of time is recommended, but not required. You can use physical dice or you can use a digital dice roller of your choice. You can create your character ahead of time on your own, or I can work with you, I love character creation. You will need a character sheet of some kind, be it a pdf, online character sheet (dndbeyond, embers), or a printed character sheet.

What I provide

I will be using physical dice. I also intend to make some AI art of characters or some heroforge designs so I can have map tokens on Roll20. I can also send you the designs . I use Arkenforge to make some digital maps, which we will use on Roll20 as well.

Gameplay details

This game is beginner friendly, and rules flexible. Players will start at level 10. It will be primarily roleplay and puzzles, with a possible spritz of combat at the end. I will provide the Monte Cook Consent Checklist, and we can decompress and debrief after.

How will character creation work

You can bring characters you created or I can work with you prior to the game. Characters will be level 10, and you can create them on paper or on a digital service of your choosing. I feel Dndbeyond is the best for new players.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
