About the adventure

When your party docks their airship at the floating city of Azephyr, you are told your ship is being impounded immediately! With little information to go on you'll have no choice but to abandon your ship and enter the city on foot to look for a solution. Fortunately, it seems this mysterious masked man will help, in exchange for the completion of one small errand.

How to prepare

Players should have a microphone and access to Tabletop Simulator through Steam. Players will need to make their own characters. All dice will be virtual dice in Tabletop Sim, so no real dice are needed. After character sheets are made, I'd like them to be sent to me so I can upload copies directly into TS. Webcams are optional. As far as rule knowledge goes, if you're a first timer don't worry about it! If you're experienced, then you probably already know everything you need.

What I provide

I'll be creating a custom 3D map in Tabletop Simulator for the session. You will be given virtual Character Minis, your own dice, dice towers, a counter, and a digital copy of your character sheet.

Gameplay details

We'll talk ahead of the session about characters, but as this will be a one shot adventure, we won't have a formal Session 0. X,O, and N cards will be virtual cards in Tabletop Simulator, but can also be called out vocally if a player wants! We're going to move kind of quickly to get through the entire story in one session so come ready to roll with the punches!

How will character creation work

Characters should be Level 3 to Level 5 at max. Characters should be made prior to the game after the group talks about class choices and levels. You always want to have a good mix of character classes for a one shot, but how we make that happen is part of the fun!

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Low
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Low
  • Experience Level: Open to all
