Adventure: The Dragon of Icespire Peak
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Discord, Foundry VTT
Price per player-session
About the adventure
Nestled in the rocky foothills of the snow-capped Sword Mountains is the mining town of Phandalin, which consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings. Crumbling stone ruins surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in centuries past. Visitors are welcome here, particularly if they have coin to spend or news to share. The Stonehill Inn at the center of town offers modest lodging and meals. A couple of doors down from the inn, posted outside the townmaster’s hall, is a job board for adventurers. The board has several notices - all seeking some brave group to deal with the rumbling of the many monsters in the area that have been perturbed as of late. Rumors point to the arrival of a white dragon that may now be making its home in nearby Icespire Peak. (This module is part of my Adventure series. It can be played as a standalone one-off or linked with other adventures in the series. Feel free to message me to discuss your options.)
How to prepare
Players need a mic, a computer, a web browser, and an active internet connection. It is preferable that players have a quiet environment to play in. You will need to create an account with Discord. I use Foundry VTT as the game client. I will send you a link to the game server when we start. You may wish to create a Forge Account ahead of time to use Foundry. You do not need to download anything and can run this in your browser.
What I provide
I will bring a fully digital experience similar to a 2D dungeon crawling RPG video game. This includes maps, templates, some animated effects, music, etc. You do not need to know how to play ahead of time but if you haven't played before let me know and I will help guide and teach you as we go.
This game includes fantasy violence and drug use.
