About the adventure

Welcome to Chicago, & welcome to the World of Darkness. You are a Vampire, one of the Damned, recently turned & trying to make your way though this new & horrifying existence as you come to terms with the fact you are now a Monster with delusions of Humanity. As you explore the chaotic city of Chicago, your not just dealing with your fellow monsters as you each attempt to find your way in the night, there are other things at work on the mean streets. Still living hunters sworn to end your addiction to blood the old fashioned way, Ghosts, Werewolves & other creatures older than time itself. Chicago is one Hell of a City, what will your story be?

Additional Details

How to prepare

A Character Concept or at least an idea of what type of character they are interested in playing. If possible an existing character portrait or image that can be used to represent them in the game. A working Microphone & earphones to prevent background sound from being an issue during gameplay. A machine capable of running the web browser based Foundry VTT without issue.

What I provide

The Virtual Table where the game is hosted, digital dice are rolled & character sheets are made. A Discord server where the voice chat element of the game will take place. The scenario & all art assets such as establishing shots & location images. Music & sounds to enhance the mood & immerse players into the scene. A wide range of pre-made characters each with strong ties & stories ready to pick up and play.

Gameplay details

Due to the dark & adult nature of the World of Darkness there will be multiple safety tools to ensure everyone at the table feels safe & comfortable when exploring dark themes. ALL potential content will be discussed with players beforehand to ensure no lines are crossed. The game will be mainly theater of the mid with establishing shots & NPC profile images used alongside audio & visual effects. The main focus of the game is the exploration of personal horror, dark power fantasy, self destructive compulsions & the risk of eroding humanity.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will be done in session zero using a group walkthrough of the character creation methods from the book. There will also be a set of pre-made characters for any players wanting to just jump in without having to worry about stats & numbers. The intention is to ensure everyone in the group has some kind of unifying trait that has brought them together, whether its clan, allegiance or their location.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
