Three Player Custom D&D 5e Campaign - Choose Your World

About the adventure

You choose your own adventure! If you feel that sometimes you get lost in the shuffle of a large group, or you have a specific story itch you're looking to scratch - this small group game is for you. Choose your world, and I'll build it. Or adapt it from Critical Role, Dimension 20, the Marvel/DC comics, your favorite TV show -- anything you and your two friends want! One of my favorite things about playing TTRPGs is the headcanon I come up with for the world and the characters I meet along the way. Oftentimes the stuff that's interesting to me gets ignored because the party wants to rush into the next story beat. In this game, anything you want to explore, BECOMES the main story. 3 players are the focus, 100% of the time, and the world will be populated based on your interests. If you've always wanted to see what D&D would look like in the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can run that game. Want to follow in the footsteps of the Fellowship of the Ring? I can roll with that. If you're more interested in playing alongside the events of your favorite actual play - chances are I've seen it and can bring you into the world of Calorum, Exandria, Bahumia etc. And for combat lovers, if all you really want is a down and dirty dungeon crawl with tactical challenges and extremely high difficulty -- let me build the darkest dungeon of your dreams. My acting background will help me bring to life a host of characters for you to interact with when you're not delving into the mysteries of whatever world you're excited by. The point being, I'm always available for messages and inquiries about any kind of game, whether you're new to D&D and looking to learn or you're an old hand who's looking to try something different.

Additional Details

How to prepare

This will be a case by case basis, but I will tailor the tools to what you want to do. I typically play with webcam and mic on Zoom, sharing my screen for images and music, with Roll20 for combat. I can also use Discord or another method depending on player preference. Familiarity with D&D is great, but not necessary.

What I provide

I'll bring visual and audio assets, maps, software, and character creation tools and info. If you're more visual, I'll lean into that. If you need a grid, I'll use maps more frequently. Whatever you need, I'll provide.

Gameplay details

In Session 0 we'll cover the kind of story you're interested in telling, and go over any hard lines you have about content. I'll use Session 0 to build out the plot and the world of your adventure, and periodically check in to make sure you're getting the experience you're looking for.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created during Session 0, and/or between Session 0 and 1. Level of characters will be based on player choice. I've run games at all levels, and I'm happy to adjust speed of leveling up based on player choice too.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
