About the adventure

Welcome to Humblewood, a vibrant woodland realm inhabited by birdfolk, humblefolk, and other charming woodland creatures. Beneath towering trees and bustling forest settlements, adventure awaits around every corner. Yet all is not well. Strange fires spread through the Wood, refugees flee their homes, and old tensions between communities threaten to boil over. As unlikely heroes, you'll find yourselves caught in the middle of events that may shape the future of Humblewood itself. This will be a play-by-post D&D 5e campaign focused on collaborative storytelling, character growth, exploration, and roleplay. While there will certainly be combat and danger, the heart of the game is the relationships you build, the choices you make, and the impact your characters have on the people and places they encounter. Whether you're a brave raptor seeking glory, a curious corvum chasing mysteries, or a humble jerbeen soul trying to do what's right, your story matters. The tone of the campaign balances cozy woodland fantasy with moments of genuine peril, drawing inspiration from stories like Redwall and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Expect colorful NPCs, small-town charm, mysteries to uncover, meaningful character moments, and opportunities to become the heroes Humblewood needs. This game is welcoming to both new and experienced players. Play-by-post allows us to tell the story at a relaxed pace, giving everyone time to develop their character and contribute to the narrative. If you enjoy character-driven adventures, creative problem-solving, and a living world full of heart, Humblewood may be the perfect place for your next adventure.

About me

I’ve been GMing for a couple of years now, and I completely fell in love with storytelling through TTRPG. What started as simple curiosity and game to play with my friends turned into a real passion for building worlds and sharing adventures. I like running character‑driven games where player choices actually shape what happens next. I’m especially drawn to, grounded adventures with lots of role-playing and exploration. Having those small moments that make everyone at the table feel connected to the story. I’m still growing as a GM, but I put a lot of care into prep and making sure everyone feels included and engaged. I’m always learning, trying new ideas, and working to create better experiences for my players.
