About the adventure

The Moon fell from the sky and shattered the world. An evil fog spread across the ruins, changing everything it touches. You are one of morally unstable souls, brave enough to leave the safety of the Last City to investigate a lighthouse that has gone dark. With a lantern as your most important defense against the Unknown, you'll push your luck and try not become something horrible yourself! *** What to expect • Simple d6 dice-pool rules • Tactical, zone-based combat where positioning and light matter • Push-your-luck decisions • Strange monsters, dangerous expedition, and a world twisted by the Unknown The first session is free — you’ll pick one of the provided characters, and learn the basics as we begin the journey together. If you enjoy the game, you can continue the introductory adventure over the following 1–2 paid sessions.

About me

Soooo, for me collaborative aspect of TTRPG’s is their main advantage. When a story, instead of following predetermined rails, makes unpredictable twists and turns depending on Players’ and DM’s dicisions, dice rolls or simply circumstances. Eventually the classical Phandelver may become a Lovecraftian cosmic horror or a detective. In my games, you’ll often encounter elements of eerie mystery and may have to make choices based on incomplete information. Don’t worry though, there is no wrong choice, as even the most unfortunate set of circumstances may lead to the surprisingly favorable outcomes. I love roleplay moments. A couple of sessions can pass with no combat, giving everybody time to live in the world, get to know characters, figure out what to do next. However bold moves may escalate tension and let hell loose. I pay close attention to making sure everybody has space to shine, time to think, and surprise everyone with the next move. Combat, on the other hand, is usually more dynamic, cinematic and dangerous.

Character creation

Creating your character

Players can choose their character before the game or at the start of the session. No stat generation or character building is required. For this introductory game, we’ll use the official premade characters from the Quickstart, so no additional books or preparation are needed. The Quickstart also does not use character advancement during the adventure.

Safety

How Alex Lantz creates a safe table

I handle player comfort through clear communication and mutual respect at the table. I use a simple, low-friction approach to safety tools. Players can speak up during play or message me privately on Discord at any time. If a pause or adjustment is needed, we take a short break and move on without drawing unnecessary attention to the issue.
