About the adventure

You are an adventurer that's brave or foolish enough to make a living (and a dying) by diving into monster-infested ruins for treasure. Dungeon crawling in Crows is lethal and fun with straightforward rules. Tracking inventory, wounds, and light is actually tense and interesting. Your survival depends on it! And most importantly, we will have lots of fun and always remember "Run your character like you stole it." We will be using the Playtesting 3 rules. They are available here : https://www.patreon.com/mcdm/posts/crows-public-3-172281213

About me

New to TTRPGs or just new to Nimble? You're in the right place. I'm Susann, a GM who loves making new players feel confident, capable, and excited to come back for more. I run D&D 5e (2024) and Nimble regularly, and I'm genuinely happy to help you figure out which suits you best. Nimble in particular is a fast, tactical system that gets you straight to the good stuff: meaningful choices, snappy combat, and characters who feel powerful from session one. While I love a good plot twist as much as anyone, my true joy comes from facilitating stories rather than writing them. My goal is simple: portray a world that reacts to your choices, celebrates your chaos, and gives your characters the adventures they deserve. You might have the pleasure of seeing one of my pets in the background of my webcam (yes, I like to play with video on). I have two cats - who both only have one eye.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation is very simple. We will create two characters at the beginning of the session. If there's a background you really want to play, I am happy for you to pick one and roll the other.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Please review the Playtest 3 rules. They are available here : https://www.patreon.com/mcdm/posts/crows-public-3-172281213 I will also provide you with a cheat sheet.

Safety

How Susann creates a safe table

We will use the Deck of Player Safety and Pause a Minute during gameplay. It lets players halt gameplay anytime. Say it aloud - or enter PAM in chat or a DM to me to trigger a brief timeout. The group pauses briefly, then regroups after a quick check-in. You could use this when: - Something in the game feels uncomfortable - A subject appeared unexpectedly - You need clarification - Tension around the table seems too intense - You only need a minute to take a breath
