About me
Hello there! Not Obi-wan, but Leods, your humble narrator (if you want me to be). I am cis, bisexual, and fully respectful of all identities. I am a 21 year old argentinian guy, about as nerd and geek as you can get and lover of basically every type of fantasy (and ~70% of sci-fi). I have years of experience as a DM, both for PbP and synchronous campaigns. I love writing, reading, playing video games and sometimes playing some music. But most importantly, I love game design and ttrpgs!so I genuinely believe I can be a good DM for you

Creating your character
Players will build their Delver with my help using the Quickstart guide, or choose one of the pre-made options instead. They may also begin with a Malignant Adaptation: bodily modifications inflicted by the mysterious Unknown, which start as detrimental but can become beneficial during play. This modification is to allow us to explore these mechanics during the oneshot.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will only need access to discord to play. We will handle the game rolls and roleplay through discord, and use Owlbear Rodeo for maps.
What Leods brings to the table
For this oneshot, I will provide: - Helpful and extensive explanations of the rules of Time Without Tides - An engaging storyline with NPCs built to fit the game's world and style of decadent, post-apocalyptic humorous horror - Custom made maps, and an experience that differs from the adventure already included in the Quickstart - Help building and developing your Delvers, as well as integrating them into the short story - Daily postings (and ideally more often!) to keep the story moving - A safe space for people of all identities and orientations, no matter what
Homebrew rules
The only custom ruling we will use for now is the ability to optionally start the game with a malignant adaptation, to account for your Delver's past experience, allow for further customization and let us explore the adaptation mechanics in more depth.

Safety
How Leods creates a safe table
Time Without Tide encourages a very specific vibe, with a mix of absurdist comedy and dark horror involving forceful mutations, eldritch horrors and other unpleasant stuff. As such, safety tools are even more important here than usual: we will take breaks before and after intense scenes, to check up on each player and ensure everything is going well. We will also fill a consent sheet for each player privately, that I will then combine and take as a list of lines that cannot be crossed. Lines and veils will also be talked about before the game, and X, N and O cards can be used as either reactions or private messages during the game itself. At all times, ensuring everyone's comfortable is my top priority, and my private chat is always open
