About the adventure
Chariot of the Gods is a cinematic scenario built around tension, bad information, corporate priorities, and the creeping suspicion that opening one more door was probably a terrible idea. Expect industrial sci-fi horror, desperate problem-solving, character conflict, and moments where survival comes down to instinct, luck, or whether somebody remembered the flamethrower. This is for players who enjoy horror with teeth, gallows humour, strong character moments, and consequences that are allowed to land. In short: make choices, take risks, and if you decide to press the suspicious glowing button, we are absolutely finding out what happens.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I’m a Glasgow-based GM with a love for grim science fiction, horror, and stories where the company handbook is thicker than the emergency procedures. I mainly run ALIEN RPG cinematic scenarios using pre-written adventures and pre-generated characters, with the focus on atmosphere, tension, paranoia, and watching a perfectly sensible plan collapse into an incident report. I use Foundry VTT, and I’m happy to teach the system as we go. If you enjoy cinematic horror, dark humour, desperate decisions, and discovering exactly how much worse things can get, you’ll fit right in.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
a discord account and a chromium browser (for foundry) I have my own discord channel that players can join. i will generally open up the server a few days beforehand just to give players a chance to go through the rulebook encase they haven't used the system before or have become a little rusty
What Cameron Corbett brings to the table
Expect ambient music, ship hum, alarms, distant metal groans, and the occasional sound from the vents getting just a little too close for comfort. My style is fast, loose, and consequence-driven. I know the rules, but I will not freeze the game to perform archaeological digs through the rulebook. If a ruling feels fair and keeps the scene moving, we use it and carry on. I lean hard into tension, character moments, pressure, and player choice. Combat is dangerous rather than decorative, and bad decisions are allowed to become excellent stories. Think Rule of Cool with consequences. I will absolutely let you try the reckless plan. I will also make sure the thing in the vents gets a vote.
Homebrew rules
no homebrew rules but if you think of something wild and whacky enough i have been known to allow it

Safety
How Cameron Corbett creates a safe table
In session 0 i will go through all the themes within the scenario or could happen and see what level everyone is comfortable with. If players have triggers or worry about triggers they will be given a chance to inform me pre session in DM's privately as well and i can either reassure that they aren't in the session or i will reassure that I will remove those elements. players are more than welcome to take a step away at any point or raise any issue that they have without fear of being judged or penalised.
