About the adventure
Once upon a time, in the peaceful land of Whelvia, a powerful sorceress named Forlorne Lykona deceived the country’s great dragon warden to absorb his power and rule the kingdom herself. Transformed into a weredragon by the powerful ritual that fused the warden’s power with her cold heart, Forlorne now takes to the skies, feasting on all who challenge her and cursing innocent villagers to become ravenous weredrakes. The people called on the brave defenders of the realm, the Knights of Whelvia, to protect them—but the knights instead bent the knee to the draconic tyrant, allowing her to command their forces and leaving the land without protectors. In a Reign of the Weredragon campaign, you play destined heroes of Whelvia, rising up against Forlorne Lykona and her knights to save this once-idyllic land from the jaws of tyranny.

Creating your character
Characters will be created using both the Core book and Hope & Fear expansion. We'll have a session 0 to go over character creation and also connections with the party. Copies of all game materials will be provided.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The session and all discussions will be done via my Discord. We'll also be using Owlbear Rodeo for a VTT.
What Marissa brings to the table
My games embrace the fun and hijinks of the game, and I follow the Rule of Cool. The goal is for us to create a story together and have the most fun doing so. Images of characters and areas will also be shared in the Discord, and I do my best to provide NPCs unique voices. The game is RP focused, with an open world for the players to explore.

How Marissa creates a safe table
Rules for the games will be shared in the Discord. Lines and Veils will be respected by all players. Safety/X cards are also to be used during sessions. If a player does not feel comfortable publicly sharing, they can message me privately and I will ensure that all boundaries are respected and followed. If a player does refuse to follow after warnings, they will be asked to leave.
