About the adventure
At last, after six bloody years of trial and tribulation, your people's hour of redemption is at hand. You witnessed the horrors that washed over the knightly kingdom you called home, swept away by the lich-king's apocalyptic tide of undeath. Saw comrades and citizens alike fall to their butchery, only to get back up and charge at you. Held the line against more forays from undead invaders than you have room to notch on your sword. It's honed your blade, your soul, and your appetite for retribution, all on the desperate hope that you'll get a chance to take the fight to the undead. And now, at a moment of distraction from one of the lich-king's generals, you seize your moment. The ranks of restless undead scavenge the broken land anew for priceless relics of past glory and divine mercy. Exposing their plans, and their flanks. With polished sword and gleaming armor, you urge your steed onward, racing them to their next destination. They will not desecrate another holy treasure in their fruitless quest for redemption, so long as you draw breath and draw steel. You will not falter. You will not fall. You will triumph... or you will witness the sundering of destiny itself, an apocalypse so great that even gods will fracture... The thrilling conclusion to the "Claws of the Tyrant" anthology, Of Blood and Faith, pits knightly crusaders against the lich-king's legions in a race against time to dig up lost treasures in a post-apocalyptic land overrun by the undead. Lead a righteous charge into the heart of desecrated holy sites, and reclaim what rightfully belongs to your order from the covetous clutches of evil. Take up the banner of deities whose fates are bound up in the success of your mission, and wield their blessings to smite your foes.

About me
To you who join me at the table, welcome home! Through astronomy modeling to folklore research, amidst fraught years in game design school and software engineering, from comic stage plays to dramatic recitals... I've taken a twisting path to role-playing games. Each of these former roles has taught me invaluable lessons, which I bring to the table. Confidence in my ability to improvise character moments. A systematizing mind to design challenges that test characters to their limits. Technical aptitude to use virtual tabletops to their fullest. An instinct for tapping into characters' hidden motives and how they can elevate drama. And an abiding appreciation for the shared humanity that binds us all together. Let us weave new stories together, full of mirth and mischief, love and laughter, and no shortage of groan-inducing puns.

Creating your character
Prior to your first session, create a character sheet in the game's Foundry server whose level matches the party's level and with level-appropriate starting wealth. I recommend a premium account on Pathbuilder (https://pathbuilder2e.com/), which supports character creation using the table's variant rules and allow for easy import into Foundry. For up-to-date information about the party composition and any third-party rules the table has agreed to use, see the "Recruitment Notes" section. Safety
How Saoirse, Veil Adept creates a safe table
This adventure presents action and horror that is in line with the Pathfinder Baseline (https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=2265), using its premise to allow players to indulge in a fantasy of heroic warfare that some players may find distasteful. New players should fill out my safety information entrance survey, accessible through preparation materials. I compile all players' responses into a palette of story elements to highlight, keep subtextual, or remove from play. At the table, I hold a 10-minute mid-session break, and I allow players to leave the game for any reason. At the session's end, I highlight contributions from other players, and I encourage others to do the same. Safety cards are integrated into my Foundry server for immediate problems, and my DMs are open for players to ask questions and raise concerns outside of table time.
