About the adventure

Bullier's bank is a fortress in the middle of the Victorian city of Sesnil. You've been tasked with cracking it. The guards are well trained, and utilize deadly force to handle intruders. Puzzles, riddles, and traps abound to hinder you on your quest. Will you go in loud, and hope to overwhelm the guards with sheer force and the element of surprise? Go in and pick them off quietly one by one? Or will you take the sneaky route, finding every crevice and hiding place to use to your advantage? The choice is yours. Good luck! In this quest you will learn and customize your character, case the bank, plan a heist, and return to the bank to execute the heist. You've been tasked with breaking in to edit the books, but will you also help yourself to the contents of the vault?

About me

I have been GMing on and off (mostly on) since around 2011... I actually don't remember exactly. I am a player less frequently, preferring the chair behind the screen. I GM both virtually and in-person, going all out on props, handouts and the like for my in person games. My games are all run in a persistent world, the Opensource Gaming and Roleplaying Environement (OGRE), a westmarches style campaign setting where anyone can join and build shared lore and history together. OGRE's lore wiki can be found below: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/open-source-gaming-and-roleplaying-environment-wobbix

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters are provided by GM (1 character of every class in the Player's Handbook). 15-20 minutes are provided in session to review or customize character sheets and ask any rules questions. Alternatively, a Lvl 1 character prepared Rules As Written may be sent to the DM at least 2 hours in advance of the session. Should you choose to bring your own character, please follow these guidelines: - 5th edition content is allowed from the following sources: - Player's Handbook (2024) - Dungeon Master's guide (2024) - Tasha's Cauldron of Everything - Xanathar's Guide to everything - Please use the standard array when generating stats for this one-shot - Homebrew (or other official 5th edition sources) approved on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out with sufficient time for me to review any homebrew or alt-sourced content for balance and theme compatibility.
