About the adventure
Emperor Cheon has come under a rare and deadly poison. The Emperor and Empress have kept the news from the public instead they decided to gather close friends and allies to go on a dangerous mission to find the anti-toxin. Unfortunately, that means going into the Kache Jungle and finding the Hantu Orchid, also known as the Ghost Orchid. This game will be set in the nation of Toshuko, heavily inspired by SE/East Asian mythology and culture. The characters will find themselves in a thick jungle fighting off not only the heat and humidity, but also the creatures that call this place home.

About me
Hello Everyone!! I have been playing D&D since 2018 and have been a DM since 2019. Currently DM'ing a campaign that is going on for five years. I focus on the players and the choices that their characters make. I want to create a paint by number portrait and let the characters color it in. For all the games I run I will try to make it the most impactful session for the players and their characters. Unless it is absolutely game-breaking (mechanics wise), the Rule of Cool will always be a large part of my GM style. As a famous DM says “you can certainly try”. Don’t be afraid to ask! Sometimes that turns into giving an evil Hill Giant a love potion to distract her so you place two grenades under her throne, and then whisper “shh, I’ll be right back” as you run out of the room before they explode!! I love the fantasy worlds that authors create, especially from Rothfuss, Sanderson, Tolkien (to name a few). For my homebrew world of Ferramithe, I draw on both fantasy and our real world's history. Ferramithe has strong themes from East and Southeast Asia, North Africa, and Nordic lore.

Creating your character
You can use 2014 or 2024 rules. Any published content and partnered content (Critical Role, Drakkenheim, etc). Can use any method for character creation and tracking just send me a PDF so I can overlook it to balance the game. Go ahead and flavor spells or items to match your idea as long as mechanically nothing changes. 1st level is max dice plus con mod. Reroll all 1s when leveling HP. Feel free to take average HP, instead. Rolling for stats! There are two ways to get your stats. Rolling or Point Buy. In the Discord Rolls channel Type /r and then copy the following 4d6k3;4d6k3;4d6k3;4d6k3;4d6k3;4d6k3;4d6k3 It will roll 4d6 and drop the lowest, it will roll 7 times and then choose what 6 rolls to keep....if it's really sad we can discuss a reroll. Base class and background starter equipment to start then follow the steps below. You may also take the starting gold in place of starting equipment. The starting gold value must be rolled in the Rolls channel. Please state you are rolling for starting gold, prior to rolling. Level 10 1 Free Starter Feat. Unless the starting Race starts with one. (Can swap for Ability Score Improvement (+2 to one stat, or +1 to two stats)) 1 Free Proficiency in any Skill 1 Free Expertise in any Skill (Regardless of Class, pick one skill already proficient with and upgrade with Expertise(double Proficiency bonus) Magic item point system. You each get 4 points. Uncommon = 1 point Rare = 2 points No legendary. Wondrous items cost one tier higher. Consumables are 2 for 1 (you'll get health potions, so use this option on some fun stuff).
