About the adventure
This is a one shot set in the new Daggerheart Hope & Fear expansion. It takes place in the Skylands on a new island that's been floating near Castle High. The reports say that there are some harpies outside the entrance to a castle on this new island. The administration and professors have assembled a team of graduating students for their first mission, to dispatch the harpies and scout out the interior of the castle if possible. This session will be welcoming to new and experienced players to Daggerheart alike. This is a custom one-shot that I've created and I need to test the mechanics and balance of it. I may need to adjust difficulty on the fly. You'll essentially be helping me beta test this one-shot. This one-shot is for level 1 characters. You're welcome to roll up a character but will need to import it into Alchemy VTT prior to the start of the game. There will be loot directly from the source books that you should be able to add to your character either manually or in Demiplane if you use that.

About me
I've been a D&D player since the days of 3.5 and returned to the game in 2023 and learned 5e. I've ran many one-shots for D&D, Bunkers and Badasses, and Obojima. I've also been in a Pathfinder 2e game campaign for nearly two years now. I started GM-ing as a volunteer at a local game store and loved doing it so much that I applied to become a professional GM with them and after an audition they hired me on. I started my professional GM career in 2025 and can't wait to broaden my horizons. I'm currently running an ongoing Dragonlance 5e campaign, paid one-shots, community volunteer one-shots, and an Obojima campaign for my friends and family. I own a license for Foundry VTT and host my own server. I have a considerable library of content on D&D Beyond and have been recently running games on their Maps VTT. I've been a Discord user since it's first year in service and have hosted and participated in live and play via post games. I'd also be willing to learn to use another platforms (i.e. Roll20, Mirrorscape, Owlbear Rodeo) if necessary. I'm eager to branch out on my professional GM career and hope that I can bring joy to your table.

Creating your character
Characters can be created manually from your source books or on Demiplane. We will be using Alchemy VTT is does NOT have integration with Demiplane so you'll have to import your character manually into Alchemy either way. Characters should be created at level 1 with standard options from Daggerheart and Hope & Fear. No homebrews for this one please, I'm trying to test game balance.
