In Honolulu, complications in a series of organ transplants draw the attention of a worried physician. The complications are disturbing. So disturbing that the doctor reaches out to federal agents that her late uncle once knew. She doesn’t know them, but her uncle said they take disturbing things seriously. How right he was. What is Delta Green? Delta Green is a modern-day cosmic horror RPG. You will take the role of a federal agent, law enforcement officer, soldier, scientist, or other professional recruited into a secret conspiracy dedicated to protecting humanity from forces beyond its understanding. It emphasizes investigation, difficult decisions, and psychological horror. It’s not about winning and it’s not about advancement and it’s not about the best weapon or the most clever plan. Delta Green is about the end of everything, and how much of it you’ll live to see. Expect investigations, government conspiracies, difficult choices, and cosmic horror in the style of The X-Files, True Detective, and Twin Peaks.

About me
Salutations, Exile. My name is Corey, sometimes Ghos in my many online games. Thank you for stopping by! I'm a long time role-player of at least a decade, with a high percentage being based in tabletop gaming. My first experiences were text-based roleplaying, through various mediums like video games and online forums. The pandemic then opened the box to tabletop gaming for me after having it as a side interest for many years, and I haven't been able to stop since! I started out playing Dungeons & Dragons as many have, but my love for the hobby has only deepened. I've since branched out into the dangerous waters of OSR gaming, the narrative-first Powered by the Apocalypse games, and many things in between.

Creating your character
No experience necessary! I will offer direct guidance at any requested points, and it is a very easy system to pick up. Character creation will be handled during a portion of our session zero. I will be going over what a character is, how the skills work, how conflict resolution will operate, etc. This will give new players an understanding of what they'll be able to do, as well as a refresher for any veteran players. My sourcebooks will be available to you, you won't need to bring anything except your excitement.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a free account on Discord, a working internet connection, and a microphone with a quiet environment. I also recommend a webcam for a better interpersonal connection, but I do not require it! We will be using Foundry hosted through Forge-VTT.com, so I will ask players to create a free Forge account before the game. No external downloads or software installations will be required. I will also be offering a Foundry tutorial to any that are unfamiliar, as well as Discord guidance for the same reason. I will ensure you are comfortable with whatever mediums we may be using.
What Corey (Ghos) brings to the table
I will bring a fully prepared FoundryVTT experience, complete with ambient music, sound effects, handouts, anything you may need to have an immersive experience. There will be unsettling mysteries and psychological tension, but my safety tools will be emphasized. I will make sure you are comfortable, and any discomfort is the welcome kind. (It's a horror game, after all!) My games are roleplay-first, and I'm a very player focused GM. My focus will be on ensuring all players get their chance to shine, and that your choices have real meaning behind them. I'm still a rules-enjoyer, but I'm not afraid to bend a rule here and there to ensure the game flows properly. As an extra thank-you, I will be offering complementary token art from one of my partnered artists for any that play for three complete sessions.

How Corey (Ghos) creates a safe table
I will be making use of many safety tools, which will be covered in depth during our session zero, but the chief of all are XNO cards. I will have easily accessed options for alerting me on any extreme discomfort, and they will be anonymized as well. We will go over any extreme or near-extreme content warnings. I will also have an anonymized document for each player with a list of generalized triggers. Content that I will NEVER be featuring: explicit sexuality, sexual assault, systemic racism, homophobia, or transphobia. Allegories of racial prejudice + bioessentialism have been cut from official settings. I will have an zero tolerance policy on any form of harassment or discrimination.
