About the adventure
The quaint Village of Wesher is the starting point of the campaign. It has a nostalgic charm reminiscent of classic D&D villages. This is a campaign for down-to-earth characters who might be beekeeper's son or a cousin of the local midwife. Human characters work best. As the campaign progresses, we will build the world together. You will help answer questions like "where's the nearest city?" and "what lays beyond the forest?" when they become relevant in-game.

About me
Hosted podcasts, won a D&D tournament, and GM'd hundreds of sessions using dozens of different systems. But so what? Yes, I create interesting adventures, talk in funny voices, and orchestrate cinematic fight scenes, but you breathe life into it by joining my games. The best story centers on your character, not my NPCs, the monsters you're killing, nor some plot object you're trying to find. Creating fun, believable universes is my passion, yet it's all just a backdrop for your adventures!

Creating your character
You will work with me 1-on-1 on Discord before the game starts. Please bring three (3) character ideas. Please no evil characters, loners, warlocks, tieflings, haunted ones, psionics, blood hunters, Ravenloft, imp familiars, edgelords, or other horror/spooky characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account and a headphone mic.
What John the Norker brings to the table
Expect to feel like a main character. Expect the DM to use character voices, visual aids, levity, and good pacing. We're more-or-less RAW but we don't let it get in the way.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action. Critical hits are better than RAW. Death saves are made in secret. You get a once per session Mulligan (d20 re-roll). You opt-in to various house rules.
