About the adventure
The Forge is vast, dangerous, and unfinished. In this Ironsworn: Starforged game, you won't arrive in a universe buried beneath pages of established lore. Instead, we build it together. At the beginning of play, the group will use Starforged's Truths to define the setting around us. What became of humanity? Why did we flee our old home? How common is advanced technology? Are there strange powers in the darkness between stars? What civilizations, horrors, mysteries, and opportunities await beyond the next jump? Then, you create the people who have to live with those answers. From there, we swear a vow and see where the Forge takes us. Perhaps you're scavengers searching the wreckage of a vanished colony ship. Explorers tracing an impossible signal beyond charted space. Bounty hunters pursuing someone who absolutely does not want to be found. Pilgrims carrying something precious across hostile territory. Survivors trying to understand why an abandoned settlement is still broadcasting. The dice, the Oracles, your decisions, and our collective imagination will shape what happens next. One Session or Twenty This is an episodic, drop-in friendly campaign designed so that a single session can tell a satisfying story without requiring a long-term commitment. But your character doesn't disappear when the session ends. If you return, you can bring them back. A crew might reunite to continue an unfinished story, or your character may join entirely different travelers pursuing a new vow somewhere else in the universe. Allies, enemies, discoveries, scars, unfinished business, and consequences can follow you from adventure to adventure. Think of it less as one continuous campaign and more as a constellation of stories scattered across the Forge. What Kind of Game Is This? Expect collaborative worldbuilding, character-driven science fiction, exploration, dangerous journeys, strange discoveries, difficult choices, and plenty of moments where none of us know what waits behind the next door. As GM, I act as the Oracle: portraying the universe, interpreting its twists, introducing complications, bringing NPCs and factions to life, and helping transform prompts and dice rolls into a living story. You don't need to know the setting beforehand. There isn't one. Not yet. Come for one expedition. Return for another. Swear impossible vows, chase unanswered questions, and leave your mark on a universe we discover together.

About me
Hello, My name is Joe or JFinkz or DM Finkz, I have been creating games for as long as I can remember, this passion for creation and games brought me to D&D and other RPGs throughout my youth, which is probably why I enjoy TTRPGs so much, there is a creative process in storytelling and homebrewing worlds and games that continues to drive this passion. I enjoy playing all sorts of TTRPGs, and when not playing, watching or listening to other actual plays of all game systems. I feel there is always some inspiration that can be found, whether it is something I bring to a game as a GM or as a player. I have been GMing TTRPG games for about 8 years now, mainly D&D, but also Pathfinder 2e, Daggerheart, Ironsworn, and I enjoy exploring new game systems. I enjoy story driven table top experiences where the GM and players all take part in crafting the story we are telling and making use of the systems we're using to help frame these tales. Additionally I make use of VTTs, maps, ambiance, music, sound effects, and safety tools to make the games we play more immersive and enjoyable by all.

We will use the Starforged/Sundered Isles concept of Flags, these are akin to Lines and Veils, we can discuss the use of other safety tools such as cards, and aftercare as we begin to define the world and characters and their Vows as well as the "Inciting incident" of session 1.
