One Man's Trash: Dungeon Scrappers

One Man's Trash: Dungeon Scrappers

Why go into a dungeon or ruins for treasure or glory, there's monsters in there! I'd rather let some hero deal with it all and swoop in for whats left

About the adventure

Adventuring's a dangerous business. Monsters, traps, evil plots. That stuff for heroes! Instead, why not let braver men and woman clear the dungeon, they can have all the treasure, they always leave perfectly good stuff behind! This table has 20 pewter goblets. That closet held a few large candle sticks, they have silver inlay! So what if it's a little work to get it out. Hey, that chandelier is made of good iron. I know a guy who would pay good coin for it! Heroes, adventurers, and thrill seekers can have the magic items, jewels, and gold. Copper and Silver spends just the same. And hey, maybe we'll get lucky and find something they missed.

About me

Hi, my name is Ergo , I'm a 33-year-old Game master looking to make an actual career in this community. My Creative background began in childhood getting lost in book after book and wanting to have an impact on the world and help the protagonists in their journey. I started playing ttrpg's in 2015 and of course, became the forever GM because no one else wanted to do it. Thus began the creation of my own worlds and the characters that fill them. I love to make games that have heavy player involvement. Want a thieves guild in the city? Done. Wizards tower in the desert? Done. Space station taken over by androids? Already have a name for it. Narrative matters the most to me but boy do I love some crunchy combat.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will have a Session 0 in which we make characters together to better tie you and the other players to the world and each other. This will count as the first of the 4 Trial period sessions. If you join later we will have the Onboarding session 0 and will pay the full price of $25 but will have 4 sessions at the Trial cost of $5 (This is due to too many people spending 2 hours of my time for session 0 and then pulling no shows so I can at least get something for my time) We will use Tasha's rules for racial stat allocation if you don't choose one of the races changed new multiverse book. Stats will be the array or rolled, but if you roll you will have to abide by the roll unless it's a dumpster fire (Multiple negatives and a highest of 14) You can roll for HP or take the average but will have to abide by the roll. We will be making a level 3 character in session 0. No multiclassing.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a mic, a Discord account, a Roll20 account, and headphones as I use music and other audio aids.

What Ergo brings to the table

I bring most player content in the roll20 compendium, 10 years of experience GM'ing, and I bring a safe and inclusive space to play and have fun.

Homebrew rules

We will go over any and all others in session 0.
