About the adventure
"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and sailed for Ilium. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons, and the stories fated to become legend are now somewhere else. You are among who remains. I am Homer and I sing of Other Names history remembers — and perhaps, this time, yours." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy, comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to cut the threads of destiny. You are not a hero. Not yet. Perhaps you never will be. But your myth can still be built, and someone will sing of it — no matter how small. Explore Ancient Greece during the years of the Trojan War, rediscovering unsung characters and uncovering mysteries, truths and lies about the myths you think you know. ECHOES OF FATE & THE TABLE: • The gods are present, but distracted. You can draw their eye and bring greatness unto yourself... or utter ruin. Or perhaps you will turn toward the Mysteries instead, and discover that the world you thought you knew is not quite what it seems. • No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward as Echoes that will contribute to the setting itself, and can end up altering even canon myths...or maybe the course of the Trojan War itself. • All kinds of stories are welcome: this table is LGBTQ+ friendly! • Are you new to tabletop, Daggerheart? Perfect — this table is also beginner-friendly. • No Classics degree is required. Bring curiosity, a passing familiarity with the myths, and a willingness to make them your own. If you love myth retellings like EPIC: The Musical, A Thousand Ships, or The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. The heroes of legend already have their songs. Let's write yours!

About me
I like my games how I like my tea: hot, honest, and better with company. And like my tea, I like my worldbuilding steeped in history. I've been playing and discovering worlds for fifteen years now—care to join me for your next adventure? I'm an Italian GM, bilingual in English and Italian, with EU- and US-friendly playing times (one of the benefits of being a night owl!). My first adventure was Homer's 'Odyssey'. Long before I ever filled my first character sheet, I was fascinated by stories of people setting out into the unknown, discovering strange places, meeting unforgettable characters, and returning home changed by the journey. That feeling has stayed with me ever since, and it's a the heart of how I approach tabletop games: every campaign is an adventure, and every world is shaped by the people who live and play in it! I started out as a player on play-by-post forums before joining my first Pathfinder 1e session. I was incredibly lucky to experience a campaign that took us all the way from level 1 to level 20, mythic tiers included. Since then, I've run long campaigns primarily in Pathfinder, D&D 5e, and Daggerheart, with plenty of detours into pretty much everything. I've been behind the screen for more than seven lucky years now, and nobody's complained yet. If you're looking for a table where there's room for curiosity, good stories, unexpected turns, and a little bit of magic, pull up a chair. I'd be glad to have you along for the journey.

Creating your character
We'll start at Level 2! Both the Core manual and Hope & Fear are available, and I can share my copies if necessary. You will be provided with the full Campaign Frame, which will explain you how ancestries and communities work in the setting, and give you a general idea on the setting, gods and magic. Do you have ideas? A concept you're unsure of? Questions about the setting? Come to player onboarding (either via voice or text on Discord is totally fine!) and let's create your character! If needed, I also have a handful of (very lovingly created) pre-generated characters you can use. We'll mainly play through Discord, with some Foundry VTT support for maps and combat.
The party already has a Moon Witch and a Slayer Warrior!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a read through the setting and just come to Session 0 with questions or a couple of concepts that come to mind! You will need a Discord account and we'll play on a Discord channel, with Foundry VTT support - which doesn't need any download, just a reliable internet connection. I recommend to also create your character sheet on Heart of Daggers in order to be able to access it outside of session day.
What sixter brings to the table
Your story will matter, and I don't mind long backgrounds as long as they are on the narrative side. Tell me about who your character cares for and what are his goals. Give me playlists, moodboards, anything! As long as there's a couple of hooks for me to use, I'll use them. If you want to continue roleplaying or discovering things, I'm happy to keep the narration going through written sessions or stories. I will strive to do character voices and mannerism and I take care in describing the world around you so you can immerse yourself. Sometimes I use music and ambience during pivotal moments! Everything I use is strictly non-AI. And if you want your character drawn instead of using AI, just say so! :)
Homebrew rules
I prefer one Avoid Death per character. Massive damage (triple the Severe Damage threshold) inflicts an additional HP.

How sixter creates a safe table
I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so. I will provide a survey regarding triggers, veils and lines so that we are all comfortable playing. X/N/O cards are private messages on Discord or, if we're doing a scene together, you can just say X Card / N Card / O Card.
