About the adventure
The game will take place in the city of Waterdeep, nested on the Sword Coast of Faerun. This adventure will introduce core game mechanics for beginners, as well as plenty of lore and characters that even seasoned players will love. So, good luck, have fun, and don't die! There's treasure to be found adventurers!

About me
I've been GM-ing for as long as I've been playing D&D. I am the forever GM that actually loves it. I've been fortunate enough to play with some great players and learned how to hone my craft firsthand from more experienced GMs.

Creating your character
Character creation can be done on your own if you are an experienced player, please send it to me before game to verify that everything is correct. If you are a beginner, no worries, we will create characters together during session zero. Do have a loose concept in mind of what you'd like. If you like the combat element, maybe a martial class? etc,.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A Discord Invite will be sent once you have been confirmed in the game on StartPlaying. You will also need a free D&D Beyond account, please have that made beforehand.
What CODA brings to the table
In addition to ambient music, I also provide voices for my NPCs. I prefer to use Rules as Written, but as I always say "Don't let the rules stop you from having fun". I'm willing to let you make almost any roll if you can justify to me why, in character, it makes sense to try.
Homebrew rules
Potion is bonus action but rolled. I also use the Perkin's Crit, so be prepared.
