About the adventure
An urgent bounty has been posted across the Keep: a sacred family heirloom dagger has been boldly stolen right out from under the guards' noses. The culprit’s tracks lead straight down into the treacherous, jagged ravines of the wild borderlands. Following the trail into the dark, your party must delve into a cramped, hazard-filled warren teeming with hostile kobolds and their vicious allies. To retrieve the blade, you’ll have to outsmart cunning ambushes, survive lethal choke points and traps, and confront a chieftain preparing to consecrate the relic in blood before it can be traded away or lost forever. Originally published as a brief, introductory crawl for 1st-level adventurers, this classic scenario has been expanded and fully re-tuned as a 2.5- to 3-hour tactical challenge tailored for a 3rd-level party. Expect higher stakes, deadlier traps, dynamic combat, and plenty of classic dungeon-crawling grit!
