About the adventure
A massive, alien starship dubbed the Wreck of the Returned has crashed into the lawless desert planet of Akiton, disgorging reality-warping magic, mutated monsters, and an army of dangerous magitech robots. Believing the Wreck is the first wave of an alien invasion launched by mysterious beings known as the “First Ones,” the Starfinder Society steps in to combat these threats and lead exploration efforts. To save the planet and thwart this alien invasion, our Starfinder heroes will need to uncover ancient secrets, forge alliances, rescue locals, and battle their way through the Wreck’s formidable defenses and forces to confront a dangerous alien being located at the very heart of the Wreck of the Returned! This campaign invites players - new and old alike - to step into action as the heroes that they truly are! Pick up your weapon, hone your senses, and set out on a journey alongside your allies. The fate of the pact worlds hangs in the balance! This campaign will follow the Starfinder Invasion's edge adventure path. Players will be eligible to earn credit through the Starfinder Society organized play portal upon completion of each session.

About me
I have been playing and running TTRPGs since 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic was a time when I desperately needed to find community and a little bit of a reprieve from reality, and I found it by rolling dice with friends. I have the most experience running D&D 5/5.5e and Star Trek Adventures. I started running games shortly after I started playing as a way to meet people in my new community. I was blessed to find players who became friends around the table.

Creating your character
Players are able to use pre-generated characters, or create their own. Character levels will progress throughout the campaign, so new players should consult the GM to determine the appropriate level. Pre-generated characters will be provided using a shared Google Drive folder. If players wish to create their own characters, there are a number of tools available online to facilitate character creation such as Herolab, Hephaistos, and Pathbuilder.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Games will take place using Discord and Foundry VTT. Players will be sent links to both servers once they have joined the game. Players will need a Google account to access the pre-generated character sheets.
What Tyler brings to the table
I pride myself in bringing vibrant, engaging NPC's to life. This includes voices and robust improvisation. The goal is for everyone to have fun, myself included! I tend to stick to Rules as Written, but with a compelling argument, I am usually persuaded to bend them without breaking them. I prefer to play with cameras on in order to truly build a sense of community around the virtual table. While it is not a requirement, it is certainly encouraged.
