About the adventure
Welcome to A Little Trouble in Big Absalom, a lighthearted Pathfinder 2e adventure about a group of tiny kobolds getting into very big trouble! You’ll play as a band of kobolds venturing beyond the safety of your home and into a world that suddenly seems much larger, stranger, and considerably more dangerous when you’re only a few feet tall. Expect exploration, ridiculous situations, dangerous creatures, and plenty of opportunities for your kobold to prove that bravery and good decision-making are definitely not the same thing. This game is especially welcoming to newer Pathfinder 2e players and experienced players who want a relaxed environment to try out a class they haven’t played before. You don’t need to know all the rules before showing up—we’ll learn as we play. You’re welcome to bring your own character, or I can provide a pregenerated character if you’d rather jump straight into the adventure. There is only one important character restriction: everyone is a kobold. Beyond that, bring whatever strange little hero you want to play! My GMing style is relaxed and focused heavily on roleplay, cinematic moments, and having fun with the story rather than taking everything too seriously. There will still be combat, danger, and opportunities to make clever tactical decisions, but don’t worry about playing “perfectly.” I’d much rather see someone try something memorable because it sounds fun than worry about whether they made the most mechanically optimal choice. Above all, this is meant to be a chill, beginner-friendly game where we can laugh, learn the system, and tell a fun story together. Bring your kobold, embrace the chaos, and prepare to discover just how much trouble a handful of very small adventurers can cause in one very big city.

About me
Hello! My name is Devin, though online I’m better known as nervous_doggo. I’ve been GMing since high school, with over 13 years of experience creating memorable tabletop stories for my players. My style focuses on immersive storytelling where music, narration, atmosphere, and player choice come together to make the world feel alive. At my table, dramatic moments matter, but so do the strange, silly ones. I love building worlds that take themselves seriously while still leaving room for eccentric NPCs and the kind of heartfelt chaos that makes tabletop roleplaying unforgettable. My goal as a GM is to make every player feel like their character belongs in the story, shapes the world around them, and are able to walk away with a memorable moment.

Creating your character
You are free to make your own little kobold if you wish, or I can give you a pre made one. In either case, any class is open to play and any rarity is fine.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account with a working microphone and a forge.vtt account.
What Devin brings to the table
I love doing character voices when I can, use music as often as I can to set the tone, I have animations for most attacks and spells, I embrace the rule of cool, provide my players with home rules such as starting with 3 hero points and potions healing for max their dice value, and I frequently narrate combat scenes as they relate to the dice rolls.
Homebrew rules
I have a home rule of players starting with 3 hero points, potions heal for max their healing dice if there is no dedicated healer, and will sometimes offer "devils bargains" to allow players to do something crazy or out of the ordinary.
