About the adventure

The town of Grungalden has found itself in fear as the Hallowed Evening approaches. Rumors spread of a dangerous spirit lurking within the moonlight of the town cemetary after the various townsfolk have been found dead, their bodies missing. The ghastly presence is believed to have taken the old abandoned watchtower within as its home. Now, the Burgermeister of the town is ready to put an end to the rumors, and possible threat, by hiring your team to venture within the cemetery, confront whatever lurks within, and remove the threat. However, you are expected to be mindful and respect the spirits of those stricken with unrest, when possible, as the eternal rest of the late townsfolk is sacred.

About me

After writing in the game industry, I thought it would be beneficial to take my talent and upgrade from player to Game Master. Prior to joining StartPlaying, I spent around two years running various campaigns for multiple groups, both module-based and homebrewed, and practiced my skills in this role. Now, I believe I can deliver an entertaining and unique experience.

Character creation

Creating your character

I will have premade characters for all players, but if you wish to make your own character that is fine. It needs to be a level 6 character, any class, and once it is ready to go, please send it to me to be looked over and approved for the one-shot experience. As a Level 6 game, consider the following for equipment: - Upgrade standard armor a little (200gp value or less) - At Ability Improvement levels you can grab a feat instead - Pick 2 uncommon magic items - Take 1 healing potion
