About the adventure
The Clone Wars is named for the defenders of the Republic. The Clone Army, soon called the Galactic Army of the Republic. Born on Kamino, their first home, and raised to fight for the defense of Democracy. Soon they are sent out into the galaxy, with famous fighting forces such as the 501st Legion, and the little known Mudjumpers. Your clones will start their training like any other, raised on Kamino in a heavily regimented and controlled environment. Once out in the galaxy, you will change as you experience true life serving and protecting the Republic. Learn what being you means, where the programmed training begins and the person you are begins. Grow from the Gauntlet of the Republic, into what you were always meant to be. OOC: This campaign will have a narrative and character focus first and foremost, and I will always be doing my best to give multiple options for the party to take at any time. We'll be focusing on a group of Clones going through training on Kamino and eventually joining the war and ending at Order 66. We'll spend a short amount of time as children in the cloning facilities, before moving to full cadets. Details will be discussed in Session 0! I can't wait to see what you all bring!

About me
Hello, my name is Belac [or Bel, either works], and I've been DMing for a few years now. Evidentially I did a good enough job with my Bleach DnD Campaign that they decided to pay me for it a while back. Recently I've started DMing at my local library once a month for payment as well, so with two groups saying it's worth paying for I figured why not try it here? I enjoy world building and lore based campaigns! I am very experienced with DnD 5e, Fairly Experienced with the Fantasy Flight Star Wars system, and a little chaotic game known as Goblin Errands.

Creating your character
Character Creation will be handled in session zero, and I will guide each of you through it. If you join after session 0, please make sure you have time before the next session to sit down and build out your character with me. Character creation will involve the following steps: Group Reputation [This will be your group's Duty within the Republic, basically how much you have contributed as well as your rank. Obviously you guys are gonna be starting pretty low- which comes with bonuses!] Species [What stats and skills your character possesses] Career and Specialization [Class and starting Subclass] Characteristics [Stats and upgrading them- it is recommended you spend as much XP as possible here] Talents & Skills [Class feats and Skills, use leftover XP here] Equipment [You will be given a set amount of starting credits and purchase items, I am providing a site with all listed items- which includes price and rarity. The rest will be explained in session 0] Motivations [Character building and all the fun RP stuff, helps in social encounters!]
This is a narrative and flexible system that I greatly enjoy, and I hope you all will too. I have a great passion for star wars and hope to build a great adventure with you all. Session 0 is half off by the way.

What Belac brings to the table
Hosted on Foundry/Forge Custom Maps Ambient Music in game Diagetic sound Images for NPCs, including some self made art :D I always try to focus my campaigns on narrative and character building- as well as letting my players have a say in where we go. My games work more like TV shows than actual movies- there is an overarching plot and sometimes it'll take multiple games to finish a single point, but a lot of times after we finish a mission we'll simply move onto to a new one next session. Your stories will be the primary focus, and while the plot will always move forward- sessions can often be self contained. Sometimes parts of these will return, especially as we move forward in arcs, but don't expect every part of the story to be connected. I also like having reoccurring characters- which this system does a wonderful job of allowing with YOU being able to tell me: I want to spend X resource to make this person a reoccurring ally, and me being able to do the same to make a reoccurring rival or villain. My game style is that of acknowledging that you live in a galaxy, and allowing the freedom to explore that. Sure there's a story point on Malastare, but if you wanna ignore it completely and go to Tattooine then this is a Tattooine session now. That mission will have its own outcome that, if it was important, might come up later- but the adventure of that session will be focused on whatever yall decide to get up to there.
Homebrew rules
We will be slightly modifying the Duty system to avoid Main Character Syndrome. There will also be other homebrew discussed in session 0 with the group's input. We will also be skipping Starting Resources, in exchange for starting with Clone Armor and DC-15 weapons.

How Belac creates a safe table
Each session will end with 3 questions: what did you like, what did you dislike, and what do you want to see more of. I will be using these to shift the campaign in a direction the party enjoys. Be it wanting more complex combat/social encounters, to continuing dungeon patterns the players enjoy, I will fine tune the campaign as we play. X, N, and O's will be used in Discord as needed, although the provided Consent Check List should help avoid such topics it is always better to be safe than sorry. I have safety cards present in all of my games. I also have experience in interactive theater, and thus can help with handling situations such as bleed.
