Overall atmosphere at Jay's table is comfortable, as if you are playing board games at your friend's house like in good old analog days. More often than not I do player actions that are probably unplanned by Jay, yet it always feel natural and authentic to how he deals with my shenanigans, that so I cannot tell if it was unplanned or he is simply quite good at improvisation. Or perhaps at mind-reading. I also tend to bombard Jay with ideas/thoughts/handouts, to which he is responsive. What stands out to me is when Jay introduces new concepts and homebrew rules, be it situation-specific, or something completely new, like an upgradable base, or a weapon that receives buffs/debuffs based on player's actions. Wish to see more of it ! To summarize, I would say an average player would feel at ease at Jay's table, find him friendly, prepared, which would result in having a good relaxed time. But if the game's stakes are high or/and dramatic, Jay adapts and fosters appropriate environment.
