About the adventure
Outside Tombstone, Arizona the quakes unearthed ancient secrets, roused slumbering gods, and let loose terrors that should have remained buried in this high-fantasy new-noir Western. Gunslingers, spellcasters, warriors of all walks are invited to the promise of fame and fortune. The campaign begins with the players as part of a wagon train crossing the Southwest. Each character has their reasons for embarking on this perilous journey—seeking wealth, escaping their past, or hunting the mysteries that now abound.

Creating your character
We'll be starting at level 1, characters can be created using point-buy before the first session or collaboratively as part of a zero-session. 3rd Party materials need DM approval, otherwise materials are all okay. I'll make Herolab available to folks who want to build digital sheets.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll be using Discord, Roll20, and Herolab Online. Server and join links will be provided.
What Plasmodeus brings to the table
I embrace roleplay when its fun, characters should be interesting if you have to talk to them, I think immersion is essential in a roleplaying game. My philosophy is find-the-fun, if characters want to start a business, chat up every npc, or just declare war on the ocean, I'm game. Combat is a passion of mine, but it needs to be meaningful; I won't make a bunch of bandits attack if players genuinely try to talk their way out of it. Same with a zombie-infested village or whatever, if you're the kind of players to come up with a plan to avoid whacking pinatas for a few hours, I won't get in the way of player agency. That said, I adore high-impact and momentum in conflict, so be prepared for encounters to be full of twists and turns. I'll do my best to stick to Rules as Written when possible, but will generally favor the players if it isn't subtracting from the fun.
Homebrew rules
I'm considering Auto Bonus Progression for this campaign, as the world has been historically low-magic up to the inciting event of the campaign. Other quality of life rulings include 1 free skill point per level to be spent on any Profession, Craft, or Performance check.
