About the adventure
There is a war coming. Maybe there always is. Mankind fears mutants. Mutants fear mankind. And somewhere, somebody is already preparing another generation of bright-eyed kids to inherit the same fight their parents never managed to finish. The Massachusetts Academy has a different idea. We don't need another generation of X-Men. We don't need soldiers for Xavier's dream, Magneto's revolution, Emma Frost's ambitions—or anyone else's. We need young mutants who understand their powers, know their worth, recognize the dangers waiting for them, and are prepared to decide for themselves what comes next. That's where you come in. Maybe you're powerful. Maybe you're frightened. Maybe your mutation changed everything overnight. Maybe you've been hiding it for years. Maybe you've already decided you're going to save the world. Fine. First, learn how to live in it. Here you'll study. Train. Fail. Try again. Learn what your powers can really do—and what you can do without them. Eight mentors who have been heroes, villains, kings, queens, monsters, survivors, teachers, and occasionally much worse will prepare you for dangers they know all too well. Not because you're being recruited for somebody else's war. Because someday you may have to decide whether it's your war. Will you become a hero? A villain? A scientist? An artist? A revolutionary? A teacher? Something nobody here has imagined yet? Good. That's your decision. Welcome to the Massachusetts Academy. We have the power to change the world. We'd rather help you change your life.

About me
40+ year Gamemaster with experience in many systems. I offer character-driven storylines, role-play, exploration, and tactical combat, along with lots of room for humor. If there's a system you want to learn, I'm patient, knowledgeable, and great at teaching you while still giving you control over your own decisions. Teaching people a new system is a great privilege I accept with humility and gratitude. I do my homework and help you understand things in a friendly and approachable manner. Experienced players find challenge and opportunities to be creative and fully immerse in the games I run without worry about me messing with rules without feedback or foreknowledge.
