About the adventure
On the Long Rim, human life is cheaper than the fuel it takes to keep flying, and every problem has someone willing to pay to make it disappear. Pirate clans, corpo-states, revolutionaries, exiled noble houses, NHP cults, robber barons and desperate frontier colonies all compete for survival on the edge of civilized space. In this lawless stretch, reputation is everything, and no one knows your name. In Free Company, you'll begin as rookie Lancers serving in a ruthless mercenary clan, taking whatever contracts keep the oxygen flowing until an opportunity to strike out on your own comes along that seems too good to be true. Escort convoys through pirate space, hunt dangerous bounties, expand and upgrade your base of operations, support or attack local factions, defend isolated settlements and sabotage rival operations. Every mission earns you manna, allies, enemies, and opportunities that will shape the future of your company. Making heavy use of content from the 'Long Rim' and 'Blood Money: How to Run a Mercenary Campaign in Lancer' supplement books, this campaign emphasizes player agency at every level. Modular base-building and ‘job board’ style mission selection let the squad choose where to fight and for what cause. What will your clan look like once you’ve clawed your way to power, and how will the Long Rim remember you when you're gone?

About me
Hail Noble Heroes! I am a humble Game Master from Central Canada who's been rolling dice for twenty three years and running games for nearly as long. Though most of the games I'm currently running use the 5e Dungeons and Dragons system, I am well versed in 3.5e, Pathfinder, D20 Modern/Future/Past, Starfinder, Lancer, Wild Talents and the One Roll Engine. I am experienced in hosting games for beginners and veterans alike, young children and those on the autism spectrum. My table is LGTBQ+ friendly and a safe space for all. If the games I'm currently running don't suit your fancy, feel free to send me your custom requests as I greatly enjoy writing new games from scratch.
