Hi there! My name is Joe and I live on the east coast near New York City in the US. Highly experienced in D&D, Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e, I've been DMing since 1991 and I have thousands of hours of experience. On Start Playing, I run Play-by-Discord games. I do not use any AI-generated art or writing, and all posts are written by me or the original adventure writer. Creating your character
I'll help walk you through character creation! You'll be creating a custom character of your own design from the Crawlers and Customizations book of the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG, which I will provide via pdf. You could choose to have entered the dungeon with a party, another character, an NPC, or even solo! You'll start off as a human from Earth, but one crawler in the party could potentially start as an Earth-based animal if they give up their initial AI favor (step 8, p. 16). Gather your character sheets and get ready to *kill, kill, kill!*
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll be playing on Discord. Maps will be provided through Google Slides. The expectation is that you'll post at least once a day. I will post much more often than that. We'll take breaks for major US holidays and when I'm on vacation. You will need: - Discord account (free) - The ability to post on Discord at least once a day - Reliable internet connection - An eager and pleasant attitude and a desire to have fun
What togashi_joe brings to the table
I'll provide an organized Discord server with Bots (RPG Sage, Tupperbox, and Thread-Watcher), maps and tokens on Google Slides, images for NPCs, detailed descriptions with a passion for writing and improvisation, and an experience that focuses on players and fun first and foremost!
