About the adventure
This game is for the Roleplayers and the chaos gremlins first and foremost. I hope you don't like staying on the rails, because there are none! I've been doing this style of fully improvised one shot for at least 3 or 4 months now and the reviews i've recaived of its potential for hilarity and madness have only been good and I've really enjoyed it, I think you will too!!

Creating your character
Create level 4 characters! Roll stats/hp however you want. DNDbeyond is great and I will have a campaign ready to go for you but if you want to use another service you feel more comfortable with go for it!! please make them ahead of time but if you have any questions feel free to ask!! no restrictions on books/homebrew/whatever.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a discord account and we will use Roll20 for battlemaps. you will need to join the roll20 and the discord server I have set up for this purpose.
What John Dyer brings to the table
I have a wealth of improv experience, I love combat and can improvise it very well at this point, many have said it feels like I must have preplanned this but I have not!! These one shot are run as rule of cool in so far as it stays cool and default to rules as written as necessary!! I do character voices quite frequently and am quite proficient at them, I think.
Homebrew rules
No specific homebrew rules to start but come to me with something you would like to see and maybe we can make something happen!! I will sometimes homebrew a rule on the fly if the party is ok with it!!

How John Dyer creates a safe table
I use the X-card heavily. I also often do a lines and veils doc. I use the open door policy as well, so if at any time you need to DM me privately about something, please feel free to do so, I should see it, if I don't just put up a hand and let me know you sent a dm, the rest of the party does not need to know what it is about.
