About the adventure

Hi! My name is Gabe, I'm 23 and I have several years of D&D experience, most of it as an online DM. I'm more than happy to help new players learn the ropes and can teach you without you needing any prior knowledge. When you play at my table you can expect a consistent schedule, a variety of well made maps to play on, immersive music to listen to while playing, potentially a soundboard if it's requested, and most importantly you can expect to be taken care of by a GM that prioritizes your enjoyment, comfort, and safety.

Creating your character
Character creation will all be handled in session 0, which will be free. Character creation will take place on D&D Beyond and you will start at 2nd level. You're welcome to start creating your character before session 0, but expect to edit or finalize your character with the group. I'm very happy to help new players create characters in session 0! Feel free to use any books available to you, 2014 and 2024 are acceptable. No homebrew without permission!

How Gabe creates a safe table
During session 0, you will receive a Lines and Veils sheet to fill out that let's me know what you're comfortable with. In terms of aftercare, I'll be available for up to 20-30 minutes after the session to discuss anything you want to talk about. If something comes up during the session that you are uncomfortable with you will be able to privately contact me at any time and I will immediately attend to your needs. If needed, we can also take small breaks after intense situations in addition to our standard break that occurs in the midpoint of the session. Finally, if an issue arises with another player I will personally handle the situation for you and will ensure the issue is solved before the next session.
