About the adventure
Play as a knight wanting to prove themself to their Queen! Three seats have mysteriously come up at the Queen's round table, and you are eager to claim what is rightfully yours. You arrive at a castle, ready for combat, chivalry, and perhaps a trial of wits, but instead you find an eerie castle that is almost completely empty. Can you handle the Queen's strange test? This will be a little bit of a melodrama, political intrigue, and murder mystery campaign. Knights arrive at a gothic castle to gain a seat at the Queen's round table but find only a cryptic harbinger and vague instructions. It's up to your characters to solve the riddles within against a time clock. You can work together, against each other, or waffle back and forth. Players should be okay roleplaying conflict and sincerely utilizing safety tools as needed. I don't anticipate this being grimdark, but I do anticipate it being more conflict driven since it's a competition for limited seats in a coveted position.

About me
Hi, my online buddies call me Eli! I'd like to be your GM. I go by they/he pronouns. I'm happy you're here and interested in the stories that I have to tell. I’ve been GMing since 2018, specializing in D&D 5e 2014, PbtA, and WoD games on Roll20 and in person. I’ve played and/or run D&D 5e, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Hunter the Reckoning, Vampire the Masquerade, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, Demigods, Legend in the Mists, and Upriver Downriver. I run all of my games with as close to a home game vibe as possible, focusing on safety and group cohesion. Rule of Cool is the name of the game at my tables, but Rules as Written is not discarded. Both will be taken into account for quality of life purposes. Most of my games run for 2-3 hours, which is what my day job allows for. I may run longer games if I can turn this into a more full time venture, but for now I’m typically running games M-F 8pm-10pm Eastern Time. The games are paced appropriately but please slow me down if you need me to. 2 hours is fun and snappy, but I don’t want anyone to feel overwhelmed by the time crunch. All of my session 0's are free. That's where you decide if the game and the group are for you, so don't hold back on any questions or concerns. I also design games! I wrote a TTRPG called Final Girl and I’ve released a few modules for it as well. I occasionally run free or discounted games for Final Girl, so keep an eye out for that! I've also published a one page TTRPG called Cat Scratch, Cat Nap. I hope to eventually publish a Locked Tomb TTRPG as well. Expect an inclusive, safety-forward table where we’re here to have fun in whatever form that takes. LGBTQ+ and allies welcome. If none of the games available appeal to you, please reach out! I'd love to craft a personal experience for you and your friends.

Creating your character
We will create characters in session 0. I encourage beginners to glance at the basic playbooks ahead of time. Anyone who wants to can use the Advanced playbooks, but I do not encourage it for beginners.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have: Reliable wifi A reliable computer (Roll20 is NOT mobile friendly) Roll20 (free, web based) Discord for voice (free, web or app)
What Eli brings to the table
I will provide an original setting and campaign with some maps/visuals. I provide an array of varied NPCs. This will be a fun, fast paced campaign where the characters are on a time clock against the NPCs for a coveted seat at the Queen's round table.
Homebrew rules
I will be utilizing Progress Clocks for different aspects of the game, just to track time, progress, and danger.

How Eli creates a safe table
During Session 0 we go over lines and veils, stars and wishes, and go over how to use the Stoplight System via discord, which is similar to XNO's.
