About the adventure
Oops! All Heists will use Keys from the Golden Vault which presents thirteen Dungeons & Dragons adventures that feature heists. In each adventure, the characters receive a mission, plan the job, execute their plan, and try to escape the scene. Each heist will come with is own unique challenges. Play as a classic heist archetype as your party faces a ticking clock and surprises around every corner. This campaign will start at level one and then leveling up to eleven. Your character will always be an appropriate level for the heist at hand. The Golden Vault can travel across planes to be in the right place for a heist. As for the right time for the heist, that will be up to your party to decide.

About me
I am a 32 year old and I have played roleplaying games (mostly D&D) for 9+ years, and GMing for 8+ years. I love sci-fi and fantasy worlds, and exploring different magic systems, but the most important game element to me is rich storytelling. In my free time I love playing board games, videogames--my current favorite is Slay the Spire 2 and of course roleplaying games. I love cats and dogs, my partner and I have a adorable cat named Gooby and an anxious dog named Pepper. I am the DM in the podcast Oops! All Roleplay, if you want to hear my DM style in action. I also work in tech so I can help with tech issues that arise. I grew up in Minnesota and currently live there. Creating your character
This campaign will start at level 1. I would like the characters created on DndBeyond. Using any official books on DndBeyond or 3rd party book available on DndBeyond. Class, Species, and Stats will be discussed during session zero. Then can create characters between session zero and one. A paragraph or two minimum backstory will be ask for session one. This will not be a set in stone backstory at first, just something to start with.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have at least a free DndBeyond account, a free Roll20 account, and Discord account. Discord should be installed onto a computer and a link to server will be provided once you are accepted to the campaign.
What NickNes brings to the table
I will provide tension and high stakes heists, unique characters, and challenges. There will be tactical combat and impactful roleplaying. I believe in a balance between Rules as Written and Rule of Cool. I will provide the narrative of the Keys to the Golden Vault.
Homebrew rules
I like Crunchy Crits, being able to use potions as bonus or action (getting a benefit if do), Variant flanking, Critical success and failures working on all D20 tests. I will put all of this into the discord server. Also this will be talked about in session zero.

How NickNes creates a safe table
I will send a form for Lines, Veils and Triggers. On Discord is where you can message X, N & O messages. During session zero I will go over, how much time we want to dedicate to Aftercare and Stars & Wishes, what characters each person will play and where they will start in the story. I will also go over the Open Door tool and Luxton tool. We can also discuss content warnings and if we want to modify them or limit them.
