About the adventure
Giants Toe Basin; a proverbial birdcage housing nothing but the most savage and ruthless "monsters" locked in tribal warfare for generations. Clans of different monster folk gather together to eke out a living in this dangerous valley, unable to know of their true origins and Fated to continue fighting..... That is until you show up! Join Clan Maggotsmasher as one of their maggots, or lower members, and journey across the basin seeking the artifacts of Dirk Maggotsmasher in a fun romp through a homebrew setting! Grab your favorite monsterous species and pledge allegiance to Clan Maggotsmasher!

Creating your character
Character creation will be discussed both in a session zero as well as individually, allowing for parties to tie together stories to deeper ingrain them in the world of Giants Toe Basin Players will start at level 2 and will end at around level 10 depending on party choices. A dnd beyond link will be provided on joining Species should lean towards monsterous races. As such Dwarf, halfling, human, elf (excluding wood elf) and gnome aren't available as is. Orc, Goblin, Kua Toa, Giantkin, Yuan-Ti and Bullywag make an appearance in story but any similar races are allowed
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have accounts for Dndbeyond.com and owlbear.rodeo as well as a Discord account. Server links will be provided on joining and we will set up everything during the session 0
What DarklyTheBear brings to the table
I bring humor and a fun friendly atmosphere that allows for player collaboration. I take a players first mentality and enjoy talking players through implementing strange ideas. I use the rules as a framework to have cool stuff happen. My motto is "Ill allow it because its funny" and provide non combat ways out of most situations As this homebrew setting is a work in progress input into the setting will be implemented in future versions, allowing your choices to have a tangible effect on the world
