About the adventure
The lost mine of Phandelver was created as an introductory campaign, is very beginner friendly and I am excited to teach new players how to play! This game will have lots of roleplay, lots of combat and puzzles. I will admit I enjoy the combat of dnd a lot but I do my best to make sure the game has enough of everything in it for everyone. The lost mine of Phandelver will start off with a quest to meet a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker at the town of Phandalin and to provide a weapons shipment. What should have been a simple mission took a turn for the worst.

About me
Hi there my name is Nathan. I have lived in Australia all my life and am currently working at a swimming pool. No no I'm not a lifeguard or even a swim teacher, I am the guy that books in schools and sports companies for their swimming lessons and for sports such as water polo. So why am I here you may be asking? Well I've been running dnd games for the last 4 years and I absolutely love it. In fact I've even worked for a company (side hustle while I am at the pool) called awakened fables who ran dnd games live at pubs. When I found out about this website I immediately joined because getting paid to do what you love should be everyone's goal in life right?

Creating your character
Pc's will start at level 1 in this game. You can use point buy or standard array for your skills. I will provide a session 0 for us all to meet and create characters together, make sure everything works correctly on dndbeyond and roll20 etc. We will be playing the 2024 rules. We will use roll20 for this game
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have an idea of what character you'd like to play and we can go over it via discord prior to the game and/or in session 0.
What Nathan brings to the table
I will be using ambience music for scenes and combat music for combat sessions. I embrace both rules as written and rule of cool. We will follow the rules until you wanna try something that's a bit out there which I will then say you can certainly try.
Homebrew rules
No homebrew rules. Everything is RAW however if you have any specific requests please feel free to ask.

How Nathan creates a safe table
Safety is one of my two biggest priorities with the other priority being your fun! Please do not hesitate to send me a PM over discord mid game. It can be an X, O or even just a message telling me to stop. Everything will be private if this happens. I have failed as a DM if you don't have fun or aren't safe!
